Upgrading from the previous X909EN_13_130426 version you will find the following changes:

• Added 1080P icons for common third party apps. (Suggested by Allanitomwesh & sn33ky)


• Fixed an issue where Gmail and some other apps didn’t sync when screen was off. (Reported by plenty of Ofans)


• Fixed an issue that caused the incorrect carrier name to be displayed. (Reported by plenty of Ofans)


• Fixed an issue that changed the default APN settings. (Reported by plenty of Ofans)


• Fixed an issue that caused the screen to automatically turn off when using Weather Screen Locker. (Reported by Chris Fung)


• Fixed an issue where the weather application wouldn’t update when refreshing manually.

Upgrading via System Recovery

1. Connect the phone to your computer via USB.

2. Copy the firmware upgrade package into your phone.

3. Turn off the phone.

4. Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons to enter recovery mode.

5. Select “apply update from sdcard��?/”手动选择安装包” by navigating using the Volume buttons and and using the Power button to confirm.

6. Use the volume keys to navigate and the power key to select and confirm.

7. Select “reboot system now��?/”立�?���?�?�系统” after the installation finished.

Upgrading with Offline Mode (Will wipe user data)

1. Connect the phone to your computer via USB.

2. Copy the firmware upgrade package into the root folder of your phone.

3. Open the System Update app found in the Tools folder (or go to Settings > General > About phone > System update).

4. Tap “Local upgrade��? to select the upgrade package.

OTA (Over-the-Air)

According to the feedback of Ofans, we would suggest upgrading via System Recovery to avoid some bugs.

If you have updated via OTA and have met the notification issues of Whatsapp or some other third party applications, please try resetting app preferences: Go to Settings – General – Apps – “menu key��? – Reset app preferences. Then restart the phone.
